Massive 3-story mansion built in the late 1800s to coincide with the completion of the Lower Steel Arch & Michigan Central Railway (MCRR) Bridge from the U.S. into Canada. Sitting beside the train tracks right at the border, the house functioned as a post office, a temporary stop-over where the rich upper-class could enjoy a cognac and cigar in comfort while awaiting proper clearance, and a storage office for border records. A brief stay by the King of Belgium adds to the colourful history. Further details can be found in the comments in the main gallery below.
A big thanks to S.Z., historian for the City of Niagara Falls, for providing details.

Freshly boarded as of 05/30/2015. I wish I could have seen the interiors of this one.
The history, photography, presentation, quality, everything is top notch. Great work GS.
Beautiful place and an exceptional presentation GS. Well done and thanks for sharing.
Spectacular, I could have made a comment with every picture. As I progressed through each picture I was getting more & more into it. Like a good book, as it ends, you want more.

This house burnt in October 2020. Wasn't really surprised when I found out, the last time I was there in September there was a mattress and pillow by the entry at the time (through the main floor bathroom window) there was also a small fire on the railway bridge behind the house the last day I visited. https://www.niagarathisweek.com/news-story/10221462-fire-consumes-niagara-falls-home-of-late-restaurant-owner/
