Banned Camp

I pass by here fairly regularly, on my way to visit family in Beaverton, but only just noticed this remarkable place. From what I can gather from the locals, this was once a summer camp of some variety.

The main building is impressive, especially with its exterior fire exits. There are three other buildings on the property, one looks like an office or classroom, one a utility shed for lawnmowers and equipment, and the other is labelled as the "Wood Shop".

There are a couple of unused flagpoles, a basketball court, and a soccer field. Only a short walk from the beach, this would have been a very active place in its day. Nowadays it sits abandoned but boarded up, with no POE. I am in the area on a fairly regular basis, so I will keep an eye out for interiors. Parking is easy, the driveway is clear and a cedar hedge blocks any evil eyes.
