Pardee Pioneer Collapse

Here is another abandoned pioneer farm out in Devon. The buildings have collapsed, the property is littered with all kinds of junk. The small house is a pile of rubble with the remains of an old rugged woodstove. The outbuildings are in better shape with walls still standing. There are a couple of clearings near a building that was likely used for livestock. In one clearing, a thick layer of moss grows over top of a huge field that was clearly used as a garbage dump. There are bottles and cans everywhere. There is no driveway or much of a trail to the buildings, we had to hike in from the road along the creekbed. The property is nicely treed, but the home overlooked a swamp, and doesn't seem like it was a very nice place. There is no hydro on this section of highway, no fire number marks this property.
