A number of the about 80 graves were of the Ratz family and near the town of Ratzburg. There is a large number of germans in this area and probably came from Ratzeburg, Germany. Pioneers usually named their new area with some reference to where they came from. A cylindrical headstone caught my eye as well as the detail in most. They now overlook the farms they tended to. A nice quiet piece of land far from any house.
