Well we decided to be troopers and walk it in...... In a way I am glad we did cause we got to see this moose really close up as well as a deer. I think we might have missed some of the real beauty burwash has to offer if we opted for the 15 minute ride in.

Just as you start rounding that final bend before you see the prison, this is the first sign of any type of structure for the entire way in.

It was a great hike in, being surrounded by so much nature, and very few signs of human interference. Aside from the road there is only signs of fences and downed telephone poles. But then you happen upon this.... It really was a shame how much destruction has been done inside the prison walls.
