A familiar sight growing up in Coby. This old school has been closed and rotting into the ground for a very long time.

Another view from across the street.

Note the rubble by the door.

The bare wood inside the school has been like that for a long time. Work is at a stand-still here.

Rubble. I don't think anyone will be cleaning that up.

Students haven't gone through these doors in a long time. If I had to guess, the school probably closed in the late 80s or early 90s and was replaced by Ridgewood Public School. Unlike Norland Public School, this building was allowed to rot.

Bare walls, ceiling beams. Work started and left behind.

I don't know who's maintaining the lawn, but I do know that there haven't been any kids playing out here in a long time.

Chicken wire protects the windows from vandals. This location is fairly lucky in that it hasn't been horribly vandalized - it's right in the middle of a residential area, so there are too many eyes. Nobody asked what I was doing when I was wandering, though.

I'm sure the basement's really creepy, but I can't really see inside.

I'm sure this is somebody's attempt to get in and look. I really wish I brought a flashlight. :(

Chained shut.
