I didnt go inside as theres about 4 feet of snow around it, and I was grooming the sled trails for work. As to who and what. Apparently the Scouts Canada Haliburton Reserve bought it back in the 50s and put it there as a sort of landmark/homing locator for the scouts. It was purchased from the TTC in the 50s. As to how it got there. I can only imagine it was transported by truck, apparently it was an old TTC bus

Beyond odd location. I am amazed you didn't go inside it. I wonder if it was a makeshift camp or something at one point, being so far in the bush. I also wonder HOW it got there more than WHO put it there.
