: to boring for dealing with cops

I was going to Tim Hortons one day when I noticed a sign on the front lawn of this house. I stopped to read it cause why not lmao. It read application for adjustment so I did a google search and found they want to demolish this single house and put 2 houses in its place like they did 2 houses down from this one. The community is fighting back as they say it doesn't fit with the neighborhood and I agree it doesn't fit with this neighborhood of single houses. I did a walk around of the house and and looked in and got. intrigued by the random door on the floor of the living room as I saw it through the mailbox slot lol. Not long after that a sign saying demolition was approved and so I went at it and ended up getting in. Absolutely nothing inside except a house in mint condition and a random old wall phone on the floor. and a few interesting and old features. Otherwise tho totally boring and average. But heya location is a location aha. As I'm walking down the driveway to leave Waterloo Regions Finest (WRPS) shows up due to a neighbor calling it in (apparently I got seen in the house). Due to tools for my bike being in my backpack that I forgot to take out they cuffed me to arrest me for breaking and entering and yet no damage to the house indicted tools were used lmao. My saving grace just happened to be the current owner who is the son of the orginal owners who stated he didnt want charges pressed as it's a demolition. I'd advise not attempting this one lmao

UPDATE: 9 days later... i happened to be heading to the store whdn i came across the owner i stopped to talk to him and thank him for not pressing charges and he laughed and said no problem theres nothing inside anyways absolutely chill about the whole situation and turns out he lives 2 doors down.. guess i could have asked and probably would have gotten permission and avoided WRPS all together lmao oh well 😂
