Demolished House in Toronto, Ontario

Found this block on a wonderful day while I was out on a walk! Unfortunately, I forgot my equipment, so I was forced to head back the next day, when the weather was considerably more miserable. Such is life, I guess. In future I should just keep my respirator on me 24/7!

Walking through each house gave me flashbacks to location #16266, which had a very similar feel - insulation falling all over the place, haphazard boarding, and sad ceiling chandeliers. I must say that although #16266 was abandoned for a decade, it was still in pretty good shape in some parts, while water damage and mould got to these houses pretty quickly despite their relatively recent abandonment.

Below are pictures from all(?) the houses, excluding one which was still boarded-up too tightly to enter. I'll mention some highlights below. I apologize if I get the numbering for each house wrong. If you pay a visit to this location, feel free to inform me about the correct numbers.

The first house I entered was 330 Campbell, and it was evident that there had been some partying in that house. There were a couple of needles in there as well, though they weren't littering the floor, so be sure to keep an eye out.

I think 332/334 were the houses with the most severe mould damage. Make sure to wear protective equipment if you're heading into those houses! 336 was surprisingly intact with really nice floor tiles, but there was condensation on the walls when I visited, so I'm not sure if that house is long for our world.

324 was the home of some kind of property investment business, so it was strewn with numerous booklets and business cards. It was really cool to see the mini model of the neighbourhood, though most of it was already gone when I saw it.

I apologize for the relatively few pictures of the fifth house (I believe it was 316 Campbell), when I went inside I saw signs that somebody had been living there and there was ominous beeping coming from somewhere within the house - so I left in a bit of a hurry.

Several garages were also pried open, so if garages are your thing, you'll have quite a bit of fun here.

All in all, a pretty amazing series of places! I hope to check it out again when the weather is a bit kinder to my poor shoes.

Now. It was a lovely day when I found this block! Unfortunately, I forgot all my equipment, so I couldn't go inside, and the next day it rained... Ah, well.

Into the first house basement we go! Pretty sure this is 330 Campbell.

Fireplace in the basement? Or a fireplace-looking thing.
