The Mansion On The Hill

This large 7,000 square foot mansion was custom built by Joseph Silva for him and his family. Joe owned a building company that built many homes in and around town in the 1970's, 80's and 90's. The silva's resided here until it was put up for sale in 1993 and sold to the hynes family. I could not find much info on the Hynes, other than that they lived here from 1994 until 2002, when they sold to Wayne and Cathrine Bolahood for $655,000. The Bolahood's ran and owned a contracting company, along with a vollyball league during the summer. and a dog breeding/training company.

On March 16th 2018, the property was sold to Andrin homes for $4,000,000. There are plans to build 150 townhomes and 90 single detached homes on the property.

Demolition began on November 20th 2023, and took approx 2 buisness weeks.

The House- the home itself was constructed in an italian/european architecture style, build mostly of dark red brick, it has a large balcony across the front, and multiple balcony's on the back. It has a 3 car garage on the south side.

Interior- The interior was nothing short of incredible. Ornate tiling and wallpaper, oak staircase and trims, crown moulding, crystal chandaliers, parquet flooring, no expense was spared to build this place.
