1000 Ways To Die: Update Well Overdue

The entirety of the building is a death trap. There are industrial grade flame throwers on the bottom floor of the boiler, though I assume it's so the pipes don't freeze and spew asbestos insulation everywhere. There are hundreds of random chemicals in barrels, boxes, and pipes, some of which are labeled with toxic. There are some catwalks that have no floor. There is a water tank with a false floor. 50 foot tall hoppers filled with trash and yellow or black powder. Everywhere you look, this place is trying to kill you. Even more so than the Hearn. 

The inspiration for this trip came from my trip at the Hearn. I was sitting on the roof when I spotted this place. I had know about it before, and I knew that just like the Hearn there hadn't been anyone to truely experiance the building in a while. On UER I saw someone post a picture of the main building of this place. That's when I knew it was time. I did some research and found a job application for the security guard position here at the Soap factory. 

From what I could tell, there is a guard who works monday to wednesday 7AM to 10PM. Then Thursday from 7AM to 1PM. Then there is the shift that was open for hiring which was supposed to be there Thursday from 1PM to 10PM, and Friday to Sunday at 7AM to 10PM. There may also be a overnight guard.  The application was made on the 13th of January, and by the 25th it was filled and the application was taken down. Convenient for my trip just 2 days after.

In the footnotes of the application it mentioned that watching CCTV was a big part of the job. There weren't any cameras or sensors in the boiler or middle building, or on the north or east exterior of the main building. From what I assume, there are CCTV cameras inside the main building but no alarms.

There are footprints all around the property, inside and out. There are footprints in the snow on the roof I was on, some from an animal like a racoon, others from a boot. They weren't fresh, meaning that they happened at least a day prior. There was also human footprints alongside those of a dog which went around to the front of the building. I did not hear a dog, so I can only assume it was from a fox or something that happened to follow the exact same path. 

Also, leading from the south east corner of the boiler all the way to the front of the main building there is a track made from a human dragging a sled. There are no footprints leading to the start, just the ones going away which implys that they came from inside the building. 

When I got there there was no security car at the guard booth. When I left, there was. There were also 4 cars in the parking lot when I got there, 6 when I left. This place is ACTIVE. There is construction being done, there is security from the TTC building along with the security from the soap factory itself. I know people have gotten charged with criminal tresspass here before, which is what made this trip so fun.

Got in, took a couple hundred photos, had lunch, and left after testing the limits of what I could do. I was never seen.
