Exploring solo vs group

I find it depends on the site, doing my normal house exploring I prefer to be solo, easier to go unnoticed. But for larger sites I find one other person is good, for example we have an abandoned navy base here which is a very large site I'll bring my brother as videographer, gaffer, sherpa, and just an extra set of hands. Have tried a larger group (a film group) but it became difficult with everyone walking into other peoples shots and added to the risk of somebody noticing more cars then normal outside an abandoned building.

I almost always go with one other person, since I get pretty scared otherwise (also it’s more fun for me.) Sometimes we bring others as well though.
