Already existing locations you cant see
I'm working on earning my level 2, so I've been working on finding a bunch of new locations, and it just got me wondering, what if someone has already posted a location but it's at a level i cant see, is there just a decent chance that there are duplicate locations out there? Or is there a mechanism stopping people from posting duplicate locations? I've been getting server errors on my latest discovery so i'm wondering if that's what's going on or if there's just an outage or something.

I've been trying to post a location since Friday and it doesnt seem to want to work, I'm getting a server error on my end, any idea if the server is having trouble or if it's just me
im unsure as to how I can fix that for you. if you join the discord linked in the footer, you can send some screenshots of the bug and a description of it in the #bug-reports channel, and the site admin will be able to see it and hopefully be able to do something. or, if you don't want to join the discord, you can send a message to user kimchirichie on the site.
Hello! I've also been getting a server error when trying to post a new location, and I'm not sure why.
You probably are creating a location that already exists (but is higher level), so it re-directs you to it, but then it gives you an error because you don't have the level to access it.

If you upload a duplicate location, an admin will take care of it and merge it
