Pretty cool to see this place looking as bad as it is now. There was a guy living here up until just a few years ago. I actually contemplated asking for permission to explore it. Your photos really make it look far more advanced in decay than it was. That roof is real mess now.

Keycard entry. 100% alarms. Someone DOES go here frequently. Why? I dont know. This building is entirely inaccessible. Watched for 2 years along some others I know. Upping to a LV2.

The police station is on here already at location #3693.
Great collection HW! These 'assortment posts' are tough to organize in the location database, however, because they cover such a great geographical range. But here's what I would suggest. Surprisingly, the old Niagara Falls post office / police station is not yet in the database. Your posted coordinates are almost on top of it. I think you should delete your 2nd gallery (the "niagara falls apart" gallery) and edit the description of your first gallery. Copy the entire description from that gallery and paste it / rewrite the description of your main post to be that instead. And change the title of the main post. Make this entire entry just for that building, as we need a dedicated location entry for that iconic old building. Almost all of the locations in your 2nd gallery exist in the database, so you could separate them into their own location posts if you wanted to and those mini-galleries would get merged into existing locations. Or you could repost that 2nd gallery as a collection of places like this post originally was and we'll set the coordinates somewhere more vague to the old downtown core.
True enough I wasn't exactly sure what to classify it as but thanks man I appreciate it
Changed category to "Commercial" as it looks like storefronts with signs. "Ghost Town" generally refers to a Historic Town that may or may not exist anymore. If they "Exist" the historic or houses that were part of whatever town are generally repurposed. Bunch of foundations too can classify with proper history behind it.

woah sick but like i wonder why they just..left it?
yeah, i actually live near here and its in way worse shape now like the whole roof is gone bruhh. One of my friends lives on the street and actually knows the old owner of it. The guy who you mentioned said not to go in cus its dangerous is the son of the owner, the owner a.k.a the old lady who lives beside usually stays in watching tv all day apparently so when u go exploring it make sure to go when shes busy with tv and not looking, but make sure ur properly dressed wearing long sleeves and pants, no shorts. learned that lesson after i got bit by 3 tics, literally being serious. Oh and, like u mentioned the barn if u go deeper in the property theres an abandoned village and pool.

Hello, is it possible to buy or to rent?
Over half the footprint of this land, is the parking lot. LOL. History, will think we had some obsession with worshipping parking lots. Its one of the steady things picked to replace things.

Now this is called a “Dead Mall”. Damn
sydxvicious • 3 years ago
I've been living here all my life and had zero clue about all that, that's crazy. Ironically it had actually been an impulse to go into Market Square because I'd thought it was still active. When I got in there it was like hitting the jackpot, an even better dead active building than the tiny concrete prison that is Stanley Park Mall.
