My guess is that they're left over from when it was an active residential property. Doubt they're in use right now, property is being demolished, interiors have been emptied, not much to protect. I was there for a few hours, often in plain view of the cameras, no issue.

Visited this last winter on December 13th, 2020 and I have some pictures but am not yet allowed to post. Was a really unusual sight to say the least.

Visited here on October 24th, 2020 with a few buddies. The alarm sounded as soon as we stepped foot past the barriers but it was so faint that I mistook it for the sound of birds until we all had that grave realization and ran off. It's a shame we couldn't enter cuz the pics I saw from 10 years ago were so cool. Someone said something about a hidden village? Tell me more about that I'm interested.

The garage was leveled, everything cleaned up and the property was sold. New owners renovated the house and have potentially sold the rest of the property as there is a new building (house?) going up presently. This garage used to be an AMC dealership back in the day along with a showroom for Zenith televisions.

The portal is still accessible but it's a pretty savage hike up the mountain to access it. Frank has a good video of the mine itself. https://youtu.be/J1g8k7e8J98 The slope at the mill site is really bad but if you want to shoot the entire mill it's the only way down to the water. Very loose rock all of the way up, if you misstep you're surfing a rockslide.

I take it there is no access to any of any shafts? Sketchy, and VERY impressive it survived the time with what just looks to be a timber framed mill, on a hill. LOL

Just drove by last week and this house has been demolished.

Have been to this house, and the one down the street. Heard some pretty weird stuff from inside the first one though, didnt stick around too long. Also alot of old stuff thrown into a room, seemed like they moved in a hurry almost.

I bumped this up as there is one artist living inside. He's staying there to keep the destructive kids out, he's real friendly at least.

Its sometimes riskier to go at night. If it belongs to someone they charge you with heavier stuff if you get caught around a house at night between certain times. This place especially sounds like its being watched if the sensors still work.

I am so sick and tired of all these lovely old places being demolished in the name of new houses. This was a Gorgeous house.
