Oh my lord I've been down that road! Ending up at the gun club didn't help with my anxiety much! Didn't see the house though .. must have been the leaf factor ... :)

Rumour has it this place is haunted by the two lovers, who can be seen walking the grounds together. There is also controversy as to who will continue the upkeep of this place. It all comes down to funding, and the Town of Huntsville who is currently looking after the grounds, is said to be looking for a buyer. The fate of this amazing treasure is greatly in doubt.
Amazing pics thatch, would love to get a closer look at this place.

lol Clay. Apparently we were neighbours. Lived on Senator Reesors Dr. in the 80's.
Thanks Tim,,,you found it...XNY 556
Christian's grandson Christian actually built the Altona Mill house. Be sure to check out the sideline to the east of Altona as well .. some abandoned places there too!
Anyone interested in seeing history should have a look in this area soon. The Feds are demolishing homes at an unbelievably quick rate. Many of the houses pictured here are already gone forever.
Love it. The Reesors, Stouffers, Milnes and Berczys first settled the area from Penn State indeed. I used to go Reesor Park Public School in the 1970s. I will be up at Altona tomorrow so check the photos soon..

Made a second trip back here on New Year's Day, someone has been in the house and things have been moved around. This place is very intriguing so much to see will be going back again sometime. Funny the things you miss the first time around.
I think this may have been torn down, it is North on the 37th line off of Highway 2 between Thamesford and Woodstock. It is just past the railway tracks not too far down the road. The 911 number is 375093

Just added more from visit this afternoon , by far the creepiest house we have been in so far . Lots of personal effects in every room , upstairs is acessable just use caution . Floors are stable from what I found just take care, basment is also acessable but thought better not to push my luck and take pics from a safe point of house .
