This is I believe on Richmond St. and Grosvner St. across from St. Joesph's hopsital. It is part of a nursing home that still is in use.
So the only history I could find is that this was owned by Huron Steel built back around in the 50's. Huron Steel rented this building out to a carpentry shop. But I do not know what it was after that.
Doom was there last Sunday the 15th. Easy to get into off Richmond Street. There is a circular driveway and my vehicle fit nicely behind the hedges. No one bothered us we spent probably close to 2 hrs there and got some nice shots of the neighbours horses too lol. It's a great location to be honest if Odet did not post this location I would not have pictured it as abandoned.
Hey Doom, the poster was on the floor in one of the bedrooms! i love that even though we all frequent the same places it's great to see other people's photos everyone seems to have their own prespective of each place. The basement was definately flooded it was a sheet of ice did not go down there.
Hey I happen to love the pink kitchen :)
I suggest bug spray we were there a few weeks ago and I brought home some ticks.

There were several animal bones around the property. Not sure if the people who lived here last were relatives of the owner's or not but they had no idea of how to look after the animals and in the end were allegedly charged with Neglect and Animal Cruelty. It is believed the woman here had an intellectual disability and people don't think she puposely negleted the animals rather it was too mu
Was there on February 20 .2011 added more pics. The shingles are not as vibriant as they were in the summer and the ones on the back have now turned black. It is very unstable looks like it could collapse at any time. It is located right on the corner of Highway 59 and Concession Road 2 on the South East Corner on your way to Long Point, you cannot miss it. There is some sort of large gas pump or
There were a tonne of old newspapers from the 40's on the ceiling. Some in better shape than others.
@vitalfilms Sic transit gloria mundi is a Latin phrase that means "Thus passes the glory of the world". It has been interpreted as "Worldly things are fleeting." It is possibly an adaptation of a phrase in Thomas à Kempis's 1418 work The Imitation of Christ: "O quam cito transit gloria mundi" ("How quickly the glory of the world passes away"). The phrase was used in the ritual of papal cor
Made a second trip back here on New Year's Day, someone has been in the house and things have been moved around. This place is very intriguing so much to see will be going back again sometime. Funny the things you miss the first time around.
I think this may have been torn down, it is North on the 37th line off of Highway 2 between Thamesford and Woodstock. It is just past the railway tracks not too far down the road. The 911 number is 375093
LOL don't let the name fool you Don not sure I even believe in ghosts as I have yet to see one. I don't know what happened there lol but i thought it looked pretty cool.
This is by far the creepiest place I have been to, but plan on making a trip back in the near future.
Demolishion has started the front of the house is slowly coming down
