Friend of mine told me the other day that human remains have been discovered there in a crawlspace recently and OPP are investigating. Does anyone know if this is true?
Yes this place has been vacant since Sept last year, they are making way for all the housing development just down the road.
as far as I know know this place is being redeveloped for for commercial use. some kind of sports facility i believe.

Been by here on the 14th and still no demolition started, still waiting for the go ahead I guess?.
This place has special place for me , was born here and worked as a candy stripper for a brief time .
yes I am sorry for that I got missinformed , was told it was demolished. So happy hunting everyone .
Word has it this place is gone now , to bad was a nice big place to explore .
There is talk city had a byer but they droped out of deal after they realised how much would cost to clean up aspestos and crap in there, last year the site across the street from this one was burned to , they say was insurance scam so one only knows .
ya has been talk of insurance scam, the city has been trying for years to rid themselves of this place so wouldnt surprise me .
I agree fm location would be a good idea
I find it so cool the things you dont notice when you you check old places out , and then see other stuff people posted its like wow i didnt notice that .
Thanks to you Dave for finding this place again and posting more pics , never got the chance to get out that way again to try and find it .

Lol like photo #7 , Musk for men and Sweating with Richard Simmon`s what a combination.
This station was built in 1889 for the Grand Trunk Railway , designs by Joseph Hobson the chief engineer of the Great Western Division . Closed around `78 or later , borded up and abandoned in favour of a more modern passenger shelter a few meters down the line built sometime in the `80`s.
