That magazine cut-out is definitely a girls' collage. One said "It's 11 pm. Do you know what you're wearing tomorrow?" That is a mantra for a 90's girl.
Really nice find. My guess, is it is or was being used for storage. I just can't picture someone who would by those stylish, metal stacking chairs, but live in a house with fake brick. Someone in fake brick would be stuck in the early 70's (at the latest), and thus own folding, nylon mesh chairs.
Absolutely lovely find. Thanks for showing us all around the house :)

@ rockandrollfreak oh god you couldn't stop once you started eh?
I believe those buildings are technically still in use. They are on the psychiatric facility's site, but may have belonged to the military establishment. There's a few more houses like this one along the lane.
A friend of a friend told me that there's another section of village farther back in the woods, behind the property with the trailer home.
I meant to mention that pronounciation detail :S
I'm confused. "Gem on the Ninth Line" is clearly a different house. Is that the one referred to as the other property the original owners had?
There were two cars parked there today, with the side door wide open. I'm hoping this means there are going to be two galleries uploaded soon.
What about the house on the corner of Hwy 6 and Marden Road? Last year it looked over run and abandoned, looks like it would be a beautiful site. I'm glad you noticed the details on this one. Nice.
We drove by the house today, and there's a sagging piece of wood on a door or window on the North side. Glad to hear to know this beautiful house wasn't the site. Someone please pm me if they plan on going to check it out. I've been dying to check it out for years.
Went here with my Dad today, he thinks the last owners were a group of hippies judging by the minor repairs. The trailer in the back has been unoccupied since 2012. We knocked and peeked in to shout "hello??" before checking out the house. We saw two cars parked outside a house that doesn't have a location yet on the 5th SR, PM me if that was you :)
I remember going here in 2002. Their fries were AMAZING.
I sadly saw this site become a pile of bricks thanks to the work of a backhoe. I met a girl that had rented this place, she talked about throwing a huge party (in the 90's), and of the fire. The house has been unoccupied since it's fire, until it's eventual tear-down.
The chain is gone from the driveway, interior is still accessible. Found it today thinking I had a new entry, but I was solo, so I was too chicken to get interior pics. Everything taken by timo, OAP, Darkman & Unleashed is amazing.
