Uploaded a few more photos from July. The house is completely gone, no foundation, the large shed is also gone. Barn remains along with at least one small shed. It's not really worth checking out unless you really like barns...

Okay, now it's gone...or partially gone. Looks like only the main house was engulfed, causing partial damage. There should still be a few small sheds and the large barn on the property unless it's been demo'd since. http://crimestoppers.ca/2013/10/18/ottawa-arson-suspected-on-an-ncc-property-ops283112/
It's further in than the coordinates, I just entered the street address and that's what it gave me. The location is just south of the end tip of the beach, you'll see a little square fenced area right by the water near the sand. It has a bunch of vines and stuff on it, so it's somewhat hidden, there's also a big dirt pile next to it. Once you know where it is, it's pretty obvious.

Can't post long comments? If I had a high-vis vest and hard hat, I could probably just waltz through the front during the weekday. But me standing around with my 70-200mm lens with sun shade on it, I think everyone around noticed me today. Snapped some exterior shots through the fence, into the store, and around the demo. Might try to get in on the weekend, if it's still standing.
I just went by, no workers in sight (after 3-4pm)...and so many POE's. Only issue is that Richmond/Woodroffe is really busy during the week, the last time i went by the store on the bus it was on the long weekend so it was fairly quiet.
Uhm...the corner store is still there and the door is wide open. The fence doesn't even go all the way around it just stops at the treeline. lol. I'll try to snag some exterior photos, but the place is coming down soon so I don't know if there's much point.
Most people have better things to do than to look out their window at an eyesore across the street, also most people that have a house facing a major road will keep their blinds/curtains closed so that people can't see into their house.
This is not demolished. bd42 and I just went there yesterday...She must have confused it with some other location. Farmhouse is boarded up with no way in, out buildings/barn are in poor condition but worth a look if you like barns and log sheds.
I've never seen a vehicle parked there, Google Street View images are also from 2009 and the building appears less boarded up than it is now. It's a nice place to visit, but be mindful of where you step, there are a lot of holes and I'm suspicious of the first and second floor's integrity.
Watch out for black mould and angry raccoons in the walls.

Ah yes, the info I have on the place was from a couple years ago talking about renovation.
Great find. I tried using Google Street View to find what they looked like from the outside, and as always the street view doesn't start in the right spot...it instead started near 245 Crichton which is also abandoned. Seems like there are a lot along this street.
Did you check all the boards? It appeared that it was all boarded up when I went there, but there's a certain board that may just be leaning against the wall ;)
Thanks for the nice comments :)
@diehard: Of course! This site is great, since they show a lot of public locations that UER doesn't. It also let's me add locations that don't yet exist, and photos of my locations :)
