I think an explore here (in the industrial part anyways) in the bitter cold would trump the day I trudged through sludge lol...give me some frozen muck any day! Great pix as always sonic.
Not just odd...a tad gross lol...now that's a strange find.
+1 sQualie...all that rust is eye candy!
Pesky old ladies...at least she didn't throw cats at you?
Lol at one of phrenzee's pics...Mother loving boy, huh? That's I guess a polite way of saying mofo lol...man, look at the damage.
Lol...well, it was so damned generic I felt it needed to be sexed up a bit...thus the pseudo latin suffixes!
Posted my last dozen pics of this extinct location. R.I.P. Belgian house!
Well, heard about it through the usual reliable local channels...wish I had gotten some better shots of the flooded basement...in this case it was very bright with the floors gone and the light flooding down. May have to return. Just gotta remember that first step.
Hmmm...says 20 pics but only shows 10, 6 of which work. Bummer, looks like a promising place!
Damn...I thought it had been an active property for some reason prior to the burning...wish I had taken a trip by a few months earlier. Now the plot thickens if it was already abandoned.
Dammit it's already tough enough 'sploring without this kind of media and law enforcement attention. Keep the captives in an active house willya?
Damn it was on the Doors Open list...twice? Went this year, of course, not available lol...
Soon to be lofts...or at least, that's how the story goes. Sale center is open. Questions as to the soil contaminants etc. and the proximity to a flood plain probably remain. http://riverbanklofts.ca/ http://www.cambridgetimes.ca/news/local/article/1225191
Heck I'm just sad it's so far for me or I'd visit lol...
Found some more info...says the devastating fire happened in 1989, and it had received a heritage designation in 1987 and then in 1988 it was re-zoned Heritage Commercial to try to promote reuse.
