Drive past this place all the time and haven’t gone in, but the furthest building is definitely in use. It has utility vehicles (small vans) and a gate out front, however the long repeated portion of the building is not in use. I don’t see any photos on here (correct me if I’m wrong), but some of the building has started to collapse and doesn’t look like it will last much longer.

The area is completely demolished as of late 2023. Empty dirt field with preparations for a new neighbourhood connecting Hancock Rd. to the bordering neighbourhood west.

I changed the status on this from “demolished” to “abandoned” again, as there are still several outbuildings on the property and a bit of abandonment-exploring life left here. Perhaps the location title was a pun not intended!

I have heard over the years my grandmother was born in 1892 in Medley, Ontario. According to the 1891 Census they were living in Darlington Township. Have you heard of Medley or could you tell me where it might be?

Big PRIVATE PROPERTY sign. I saw workers maintaining the property and renovating house. They had word with me. I would not go back.

I first visited here in summer of 2020 (and a couple times after that) but recently went back end of winter 2021 and had never noticed this before but has anyone else noticed the urn of ashes on the one window sill? it just makes me sad to see someone left behind like that.

I believe this got torn down. Either that or the coordinates are wrong as on Google you can see where the buildings were but now the lots are empty.

Really cool find. As mentioned by others the house is really unsafe to enter. You can still find some good angles pointing in from outside. Neat little location.

Just a warning to everyone that goes onto this property, there are Police Video Camera''s set all over the place,4 camera''s per piller that is set up.If you have a bright flash light and a hoody and want to check it out, then do the same thing I did and shine the light directly at the camera''s and hide your face, also you''ll have about 25 minute''s before the Police show up once they notice activity lol.
