barn’s demolished and the lot is completely empty as of 2018

It was owned by a Mennonite family before expropriation. I lived down the hill in the old Monkhouse farmhouse in the ‘70’s, which may be still standing according to google earth photos.

Drive past this place all the time and haven’t gone in, but the furthest building is definitely in use. It has utility vehicles (small vans) and a gate out front, however the long repeated portion of the building is not in use. I don’t see any photos on here (correct me if I’m wrong), but some of the building has started to collapse and doesn’t look like it will last much longer.

majority of this location has been demolished. I don't expect it to last much longer. found the demolition schedule inside, they were supposed to be done on the 1st of December, 2 days ago. met some scrappers inside as well

The area is completely demolished as of late 2023. Empty dirt field with preparations for a new neighbourhood connecting Hancock Rd. to the bordering neighbourhood west.

There is a freeze on the demo as it awaits historical evaluation. I was fortunate to see this house before it was destroyed by local kids

the tiny replica of the church has gone missing and is no longer there. unsure if it was stolen or removed by some authority

Doors are boarded, houses are still there
Being demolished. https://www.durhamregion.com/news/a-good-day-demolition-begins-on-south-oshawa-development/article_1a560f5e-1abd-56b0-b25c-452638eb5c66.html
yeah I'm aware that house is boarded, the shop within eyeshot of it was fairly busy when I went so I didn't go further than look at it from the cemetery.

Sure was! But I guess it was to be expected, given how close it was to the plaza. Your shots sure showed a dangerous location. On the flip side, if you're in the area again, the house behind it is completely boarded up. Still has power though, so I gave it a quick circle and left.
