Was updated by a buddy of mine that this place has since been demolished. R.I.P Lawn Bowling Club, 1900-2023.
Moved it down from level three to level two. Returned for a second explore a few months ago and found the place completely trashed. It’s a shame, place was completely untouched prior to this.

I ventured here the other day and it’s pretty different now. I believe the sign ‘population 7’ has been removed and replaced with just a ‘Welcome to Decker Hollow’ sign. Not too much of a ghost town, there’s quite the small community of farmers. Not much to see anymore unfortunately

Hey, I went to Scouts here! They mainly held the meetings at the local library/courthouse in Brighton while I was going, and Kilbank in the summer for orienteering and archery. This was back in the early 2000's, like 2005 give or take a few years. Even then, the floors were warped beyond belief and I cant even believe we were allowed to use it! I also remember a random outhouse that was built as part of a construction project, it never became operational yet some kids would still use it as a gag.. my god I feel old now. Also sidenote; it's not Boy Scouts anymore, just Scouts! (Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to join haha). Great time honestly, this feels so nostalgic!

There was an old man living in there but just got murdered a year or so ago, someone is currently occupying the property

On another note, be careful going here because there is a police station right down the road now lol
This is kind of odd to say, but my cousin took his life in this motel when it was operational many many years ago.

My father bought this property around 1959. At that time there was a house and a school house. Both buildings were burned down around 1985. There was a dam that provided a pond and around 1990, the whole dam broke with no trace of it and the pond then became a stream

This place is still standing 👌🏻 Explored it earlier this summer.
Great site, unfortunately, most of the buildings are locked up. You can try to climb in through a broken window at the front of the cement tower- wouldn’t recommend it because of the glass. The cement tower is worth the climb, however!

I am the owner of the original Dawson house ( 1867) and am looking for any old photos of Dawson pond ,an important fishing pond from the 1920- to 10950. as well as the grist mill and the Red Cloud community. The pond burst in 1952. If you know of any photos—please contact me—thanks

I was on Red Cloud School Drive today and didn''t see anything. Are there any indicators that reveal where this property (old house and derelict cars) is?

This property is now posted. No trespassing and video surveillance sign on the gate.
