There is a Stevens Ave. In Marathon. Is it the same 'Stevens' and if so, what does anyone know about him? My in-laws (Lees) lived on Stevens for many years.

I have have made many visits to the Hilton over the years. It is an important part of the history of the north shore as well as a safe haven for boaters and should be preserved at all cost. To tear this structure down would be criminal. Anyone who has been exposed to a squall on Superior and has taken shelter at the "Hilton" knows exactly what I mean.

Nice, wasn't sure if anyone else got in there or not.

Awesome, I was supposed to make a trip here in the summer but my contact in TB who scouted it said that security was so tight. Being such a far drive I wasn't willing to go that far without a sure thing. HAHA edit- you ARE my contact in TB!!

If im not mistaken it seems like the house was torn down. Hard to tell if its the same house but there was a house across the street thats been torn down
To follow up what Chazzie said, it looks like a new house was built, hard to tell as street view only goes up to 2012. But the overhead on maps shows a new looking house with a car in the driveway and a trampoline in the backyard, suggesting it's a new house

I went up here recently, and there's a lot more to the ski area than mentioned here. This ski area has 4 different areas going up 2 different mountains. I got a few more photos from different parts, but I can't upload yet.

really cool, sort of hard to find but worth it! it''s kind of a hike to find it with some uphill and downhill found some broken ski poles and old ski goggles nearby!
seems as though someone has a trailer parked here to use during hunting season. semi-underwhelming, has closed gates with a "no tresspassing" sign on them but you can walk around them easily.

As of May 2019, the front door has been boarded up. I'm not sure of any other entry points. The neighbours watch the abandoned property closely. (the neighbours to the left when you are facing the front of the church)
Seems like this place is torn down as of May, 2019. It appears to now be privately owned.
