Nice find. :)

You could spend hours reading them all. There's two log books left there, both full, plus the stuff on the walls, it's always really neat to read the stories, often funny too.
I want to visit just to read all the messages scrawled everywhere. The log entry stating 'children have been conceived here' really struck a chord.

What great pictures!! it is too bad that our government would not preserve places like this!! Like they say any port in a storm!!!

Beauty.
A big fan here of your 'check just in case' exploration mantra. Nice spot.

My Grandpa, Russ Allison was the President of CP rail till '89 and knows this town quite well. There is a concrete coal filling tower that is blown over, and my grandpa was there when and knows the man that blew it over.

It sure is, and the north is beautiful!
Whenever you post stuff like this and I roll the map out, it really makes me re-realize just how damn big our province really is.

Yes, one has to actually go to the location and then take pictures of the location to confirm its location to others and the pictures should be about the description or help explain the description. Did you get permission from these people to post these pics online? Just some things to think aboot brew.

Can you possibly go out to the site and see if you can at least get some photographs of old remains... of any kind, even. Foundations? Otherwise, I'd hate to see your very 1st post removed, but there needs to be more substance to the listing. Sorry, especially since that first pic is probably your family.
