*UPDATE* as of 2024 the roof has completely fallen in (it fell in 2019) and the house next to it is also completely abandoned. Sadly I think the older woman who lived there has passed as she was residing there for years and kept it up, now its in complete disarray, sad to see. But back to this house, I'm just shocked that its even still standing. Went there a few weeks ago with my brother and was shocked to see. After digging online i found other pages showing the house and some of them said its been abandoned since the 80s-early 90s possibly. And the house is very old some speculate from the 1890s or so.

wouldnt recommend unless your sneaky this is in the falstaff crips gang territory
Definitely one of my favorite spots but like recently it got way more scary when i went there with a friend recently we heard voices footsteps and it has almost been completely boarded up sot its nearly pitch black inside the roof is a really nice chill spot tho would recommend bringing some sort of weapon to this place now tho

I went to check it out today and its gone. The only evidence left was a decaying wooden patio table with a chair folded up against a tree.

If you're able to get a general idea, that would be great. No worries if not

Just near here there's a very prominent windmill in the middle of Cameron Ranch, which is now a provincially protected wildlife reserve.
Sorry Francisco, when we hiked out there we totally forgot to check the coords. We didn't find much of interest though - some old windmills, abandoned hunting blinds, and the buried foundation of what I'm guessing was a house. We took a drone and observed a very house-shaped elevation in the ground. However, since then I've spoken to the user Clay70 and adjusted my expectations for Horncastle a bit. It was never a TOWN so to speak, rather a very dispersed collection of farms and houses whose general area was given a name because of the presence of a post office. When travelling up the Victoria Road, you can assume any standing pioneer structures encountered in this vicinity to be part of Horncastle. I hope this clears things up a little!
53 years ago now :o

The main part (right side) was a far far older house, some sources indicate it may have originally faced Highway 7 and been rotated/moved 90 degrees to front onto Lansdowne when the railway underpass was built in 1929-1930. The addition on the left appears to have been added at a later date. All gone, apartments or condos going in now.

I might be a bit late to answer this, but on the road above this there is a dip in the steel girders adjacent to the road where the former road going down there is blocked off. You simply hop those two girders and make your way down the road, which pretty quickly gets you to the bridge.
