Demolished House in Oro-Medonte, Ontario, Canada

Location # 6811

Having a hard time believing this location is not already on here. Did I miss it? Possibly a past deletion?

I have yet to find any history on this location other than Yellow Page type adds informing us it is out of business. Genius. Google Earth shows U-Haul advertisements, custom homes and cottage displays on trailers and a for sale sign by Remax. The property looks used, gates, outbuildings, but not on this Sunday.

The house sits unfenced and boarded up. A selection of Russian newspapers and magazines are found throughout this location. Assorted pickup truck parts littered most rooms. Last calendar date was September 2008. Externally the house was made to look like Stucco; someone had perforated a place which revealed a foam underlay. Apologies for dark pictures, I am now the proud? owner of a DSLR on steroids that I have yet to see eye to eye with! grumblegrumblegrumble

trespasseverywhere: Appears to have been a home and office. Ridiculous orange shag carpet upstairs, a home office within, and gorgeous vines claiming the entire exterior.

Ever since I can remember I have shown my interest in this place when my parents would drive by it. I had a dream about it when I was like 5. Just subbed to premium and It's on here! OMG! I love this site!

The guy next door is looking to buy this place and if he does, it will be demolished. Apparently the basement is completely flooded.

Wow, good thing that guy didn't buy it. This is quite the interesting property.

Don't even know how to do that yet! Have yet to bring my tripod to an abandonment... Maybe I will have time to give it a try next time. Thank you!
