I unfortunately had my camera zipped in my pocket just before this and missed 5 deer hanging around the base of the silo.

This old stone building is so well shrouded in low hawthorn bushes that I do not even think it would be visible from the road in the middle of winter.

NOTE: This is not a point-of-entry shot. Nope, for sure not. It was an appreciation of the old door and lock mechanism.

This old trough surrounds the inside perimeter. Given how difficult it is to cut through the underbrush and access the front door, the terrain must have looked very different a century ago when farm animals walked in easily and fed here.

This may be one of my last attempts at close-up silo photography: I am running out of ideas on how many different ways one can shoot a silo and still succeed in making it look semi-interesting!
