I decided to check out the DIY skatepark in Orillia since I was attending a music festival right across the street. Due to the festival, there were cars parked all around it, making it an even stranger sight to see. There is not too much to say about this location, so I'll keep it short: there were several ramps and a rail as well. The whole park was on relatively smooth concrete, showing how recently it was built. On one ramp, there were 2 drink bottles, but I did not touch them to see if there was any left inside. There was also a surprising lack of graffiti on the ground, which I suppose further proves the fact that it was abandoned shortly after being finished. I also found a 20 km/h speed limit sign on the ground, and a strange fancy cabinet on sight which I thought could have been used for drug deals.

There was no danger here when I visited, and it was a short trip due to the size and scope of the location.

A park overview
Here you can see a few rails, platforms, and ramps. The abundance of cars is also visible.
Angle switch
This angle shows a few different features of the skatepark
Broken pieces
Some of the features are breaking despite the age of the park
Sunny ramp
Some of the ramps are elevated off of the ground, so I would be too scared to use them
Rails
This rail was a few meters long. Its shadow gives it a cool visual effect.
Isn’t this fast?
No ones going this fast on a skateboard, so I think this sign’s unnecessary.
Rusted ramps
Some areas were more bumpy and broken than others at the park.
Fancy table thing?
It was closed when I found it, but the drawer was empty. I closed it back up in case it was some sort of a signal for a drug dealer.
Graffiti blockage
The orange barrier had stickers and graffiti all over it. It was strangely placed in the park.
Bench trick
I don’t understand how a skater could get on top of this one…
Too sunny
Pizza graffiti was on this ramp, much more wholesome than the satanic stuff you seem sometimes.
TP and drinks
Strange graffiti on this larger ramp. These are the drinks that I found on top of the ramp.
Expansion plans?
There was a large empty concrete area that may have been there in case the skaters wanted to expand the park.
