Old Ballycroy general store/ post office. This building has been partially revamped as a private residence, but everything from the old store has been left as is. Aside from an old barn (now a private residence) across from the store, this is the only old Ballycroy building that you can see

A local informed us that the veranda on the left hand side was only recently added. That space used to function as the loading dock for horse drawn carriages delivering goods to the general store.

Some very Ferrel looking cats at the end of Ballycroy road. We were careful not to disturb them or anyone else. Ballycroy has a very private feel. The dirt road is small and the houses quite close to one another for such a rural area.
