1. St.Marie Park

The spell of Sainte-Marie among the Hurons lies in the very land upon which it stands. Located along the shores of Georgian Bay - Samuel de Champlain's "mer douce" - and surrounded by wooded hillsides, this was the ancestral homeland of the Huron Wendat nation, a branch of the Iroquoian family. The Wendat were a matrilineal society of good traders and skillful farmers who called their land Wendake - the land apart

2. Long forgotten beauty

This house appears to have been abandoned for quite some time.. I've grown up around the area and have always seen the top windows creeping up over the hill, finally curiousity got the best of me and I pulled in the driveway. It is VERY overgrown and away from the somewhat busy street of Fuller that you don't have to worry. The house has been very vandalized, but otherwise seems to be in pretty great condition. It's got a lot of quirks and its a must see before they rezone the land. (Which I think will be soon)

3. Grain Elevators

The Grain Elevators were demolished at some point prior to the late nineties, though the basement remains. In my high school days, I remember my friends talking about their excursion to the place to get away with some drinks. Up until recently, I had thought it was completely gone due to new housing developments.

To get into this, you have to be quiet and discreet. It(a)s a largely fenced in area beside a condo-unit.
