I'm thinking that the land on which those homes were was rented... Like most of the "trailer" park homes in Ontario. Although there was no mention of that in the Niagara falls review article I read regarding the subject in 2009

I was here a month ago and saw some cars parked outside and like 6 or 7 guys just hanging out, looked kinda sketch so I left without taking a good look.

I remember this from when I lived up there 15 years ago. It's amazing it's still standing considering how massive (and unstable) the snow pack can be.

AMAZING. 😍

The military silo property became a storage unit property and is still active today. There was a few film productions shot there - not sure if the films are released yet. There was also a death on the property in the last 6-7 years where someone fell into a silo while looking at a vehicle, being stored, for sale. The owners plead guilty and where fine $100k for the incident.

Nice, wasn't sure if anyone else got in there or not.

I went to school with one or two of the brothers that lived here. Spent many of evenings in this house. Didn't change much from when it was lived in believe it or not.

Awesome, I was supposed to make a trip here in the summer but my contact in TB who scouted it said that security was so tight. Being such a far drive I wasn't willing to go that far without a sure thing. HAHA edit- you ARE my contact in TB!!

Alright. Rail walking is pretty standard and not risky compared to many things we do. Many locations are accessed by rail. Robson Lang being one that I recently made a LV1. Your call, but eventually it will prolly get bumped down. You only are in harms way if you are walking in the middle of it too. Walk the side of any rail, your fine. Tunnels tho, are different. If you write trains are the hazard, then its not your issue if people dont read. This is why I type as much relevant info as I can, and if its not read, I did my bit.

I was more worried about people having to walk the rail lines, trains out of town get up to speed on that stretch and you need to keep your eyes and ears open
This could probably be made a LV1 as well. It has nothing to vandalize or steal really. Nothing to protect here.

I went out in the fall to show this house to my cousin and what a disappointment to see it gone. Hard to say goodbye to such a beautiful location. So sad:(
