yeah!!! it's very good news that this property has been designated 'Property of Cultural Heritage Value'. There are many places that deserved to be protected, but aren't, and torn down. I also hope that it will be restored.

I found the today on the "City of Pickering Municipal Heritage Register" of 2008. It has been designated as a "Property of Cultural Heritage Value - Federal Lands". Hopefully they will restore it. :)

Nope, not in Renfrew. I knew the previous owners before they sold it a few years ago. Was a nice place to eat too. I'm the one who installed the alarm for them as well (when I used to live that way). Shame to see it going this route.

Yes ... when exploring be like a scout - take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints.

We were married in this church in 1997. The inside used to be painted pink and they repainted it blue for our wedding. It's a sweet church. It's too bad it's rarely used.

oh my goodness, i pass by this location on my way to work, i didn't even know that the whole location was abandoned. i remember going with my family to the store. oh well, it'll be interesting to see what is up in it's place
