The cool thing about your two galleries is that I didn't see a single one of your visuals when I was there a few months ago. And you would say the same thing about my pics. We accessed entirely different areas. Funny how access changes like that as time goes on.

I miss it. Some man who was incredibly high yelled at me that no one said Humpty Dumpty was an egg one of the last times I ate inside. Great restaurant

I ventured here the other day and it’s pretty different now. I believe the sign ‘population 7’ has been removed and replaced with just a ‘Welcome to Decker Hollow’ sign. Not too much of a ghost town, there’s quite the small community of farmers. Not much to see anymore unfortunately
Oh man, I remember this place. The place always felt like it had the clock ticking on it anyway!

In Ontario cemeteries can not be abandoned, they become the property of the municipality in which they are located. If a cemetery is not being maintained, you can report it to Consumer and Commercial Relations department of the Ontario government.

The status of this site as "Demolished" is incorrect. All buildings associated with this property (1123, 1125, 1127, 1131 and 1135 Stonechurch Rd. E.) are standing as of June 17, 2022. The reason why this property was abandoned is still unknown. The owner used to sell minibikes and ATVs from this location. All-of-a-sudden, the owner and the business disappeared, but no one knows seems to know why. The property is currently owned by Fai Nor Chin and Shee Shing Chin (public record) and on May 14, 2008, an amendment for zoning was submitted to "permit additional commercial uses on the lands located at 1123, 1131 and 1135 Stone Church Road East", to expand the existing By-law No. 92-309 (December 8, 1992), which modified the existing “M-13” (Prestige Industrial) District on the subject lands in order to "permit a restaurant and caterer, including banquet facilities; and an accessory dwelling unit that is accessory to a permitted restaurant use". Whether or not this was successful remains unknown, but I can tell you nothing physical has taken place at these locations other than replacing boards on windows that had rotted. They are still boarded up and no property maintenance has taken place since it was abandoned sometime in the early-to-mid 2000s.

I went into this area recently to find it, couldn't find it. I had the drone out looking for the tower and hiked some of the logging roads in the vicinity, but alas my efforts did not bring up any results. Is the tower near the posted coordinates? Or is located far away from the posted coordinates? Based on my visit it's possible that the MNR demolished it.

There was a hole on the side that allowed access through the basement in May-June 2021. When I went in September 2021, the location had been trashed by some people who were living outside and/or the police. The basement entrance was welded shut. There was a new ladder at the roof, but it did not look nearly as sturdy or safe as the fence ladder that was previously up there circa. 2019 so we chose not to climb down inside and risk the 25+ foot fall. If anyone has braved the climb down, please let me know how sturdy said ladder is.
I'm not sure if I have any photos of this location. Shortly after the fire, someone printed out some photos of the interior and tacked them onto the wooden fence surrounding the ruins of the building. These prints are viewable in the June 2021 google street view of the Dundas bridge at what was once the auto shop's entrance, but have since been removed. Hopefully the individual who put them up is a member of our community and can share the photos they have on here.
