Ranch Motel - Coboconk

This place was amazing 15 years ago. I used to rent these little rooms all the time. The family that ran it made all kinds of fresh food and what didnt sell was given to quests. One year i went and they had apparently given up and walked away. It was a roadside flea market and the owner offered to sell it to me for 220k because i said i loved it. Too bad my ex wife hated it

According to locals, this place has been purchased but i'm not sure how long ago or what the plan is. I remember, years ago, one of the old owners used to sell homemade pies out of the hotel. Never stopped by, but I wish I did! Next time I'm in the area I'll try to get some pics, too.

Had an amazing vibe. I will post pictures when I get home. Right off the highway - can't miss it, although I almost did as I was trying to find the abandoned white house down the street.

This place is about 500 metres north of the motel on the other side of the highway..enjoy..

There is also a cool abandoned log home just north of here on the west side of Hwy 35 that is deserving of a nice photo shoot--hint hint...
