In the first few photos construction equipment can be seen next to the north pavilion and it's hard to see but there are dozens are garbage bags filled with white hazmat suits on the balcony. I can only assume they were removing any possible asbestos prior to demolition. A fence was up, temporary construction offices were set up on Highbury and temporary hydro was brought onto the site.
