Hazards of Molde School - Geocache Location
Sharp Objects/Floors - Rubble covers the school floor. There is also areas of the floor that are starting to cave due to all the weight sitting in certain areas
Plants - Property is overgrown and no signs of any upkeep. There is boards around the school exterior as well that are hidden by the long grass
History of Molde School - Geocache Location
Molde School District 3518 was formed in 1918 and the school was built in 1920
1925-26: Valhalla School Board included Molde School pupils and a second room was needed (valhalla school)
1943: Valhalla School became a central facility with the closing of the one-room country schools
There used to be a big barn and outhouse behind the school that were used by students and teachers but have since been removed.
You are able to view every area of the single room school interior through the broken doors/windows, and the geocache is NOT hidden inside the school.
Looks like it was once used (or possibly still is) as a farmers storage space with all the random items inside so use caution and always be respectful.
