I thought the same thing about my city, until one day I heard about an abandoned college building. They are there, but you just have to wait until the right person accidentally mentions it.

i find it easier to find abandoned properties in more rural areas! i like to drive out with someone down some back roads and just pin abandoned properties on google maps to check out later. im from mississauga and i thought that i wouldnt be able to find many abandoned properties that arent heavily guarded, but my bf and i went for a quick drive towards milton once and found like 5 houses in one day. even more when we had a longer drive out to hamilton. best of luck remember to always bring gloves, masks, boots, etc :) and listen to your gut if it tells u to leave
